Hastings is a town on England’s southeast coast. It is known for the 1066 Battle of Hastings, fought on a nearby field where Battle Abbey now stands.

Rye ; The town of Rye is a 20 mins drive or train journey & is reputed to be the best preserved medieval town in the UK. The cobbled streets of Rye citadel is a photographer or artist’s dream & the Rye town model & story of Rye is a great introduction to your visit to the town.
Camber Beach ; In the other direction a 5 mins drive or bus journey takes you to the 7 mile stretch of dunes at “Camber Sands”, East Sussex’s biggest sandy beach & a wonderful for kite surfers.
You will find on your journey a lot of dramatic views as you are close to the coast road. A beautiful trip to do if you are close to the South.
