An easy walk for the nature’s lover to do as you like. A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for 6 km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The coastal walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays & rock pools. The beaches & parks offer a place to rest or swim.

There are 3 different stops between Bondi Beach & Coogee Beach ;


1.2 km, 25 mins – Scenic views of Bondi Beach all the way to Malabar headlands in the South. Bondi Beach is famous for its glistening ocean, pristine sands, reliable surf. Bondi has become synonymous with Sydney’s beach lifestyle & is very popular with tourists & locals. Surf lesson & board available at Bondi Beach.


700 m, 5 mins – The easiest part of the Bondi to Coogee walk, a leisurely short level stroll. Here you can walk & watch surfers catch waves at 3 different locations: Tamarama Beach, McKenzie & Bronte Beach.  Tamarama has a small ocean beach popular with surfers & is a place to be seen, the beach and adjacent parkland have been popular places for recreation such as swimming, surfing, sun baking & picnics for more than a century.

2.2 km, 50 mins – It is in parts a cliff walk. The five hundred meter cliff top board walk is perched on top of cliffs, with waves breaking deep below. Another attraction is the historic Cemetery positioned above the board walk. The next beach, Bronte Beach is famous for it’s surf, rock pool & the parkland behind the beach. 


1.8 km, 45 mins – The Clovelly to Coogee walk is a hilly section with great views of Coogee and Gordon’s Bay a pretty inlet popular with divers. Clovelly Beach is a small family friendlybeach that sits at the end of a narrow bay. Clovelly Beach is popular with swimmers & snorkelers & Gordon’s Bay a favored spot by scuba divers.With a shimmering beach & a protected marine reserve. Coogee Beach is a haven for families, couples and travelers alike. Stand up paddle board available at Coogee Beach.

After Coogee Beach, if you would like to continue the walk, you will find ; Coogee to Maroubra Beach via Lurline Bay. 2.9 km, 70 mins. Sydney’s best kept secret, Maroubra Beach is famous for it’s surf, surfing lifestyle & surrounding parks. Bondi to Coogee walk beaches are among the best in Sydney. Surf lesson & board available at Maroubra Beach.

So definitely, don’t miss this walk. It is a real pleasure & a lot of fresh air. You don’t need any more capacity than a nice walk with still walking shoes.
